The Farmers' Market Mural is complete! Artist Amy Colburn has done a great job of beautifying our market space. Come down to the market this Saturday to check off your grocery list and see the finished mural. After market (around 12:45pm), the Canandaigua BID will have a ribbon cutting and a few words from the artist.


We've added some wonderful new vendors to the market this year, to go along with your old favorites. Find out more about all of the market offerings below!

This Saturday:               

  • Riedman Happy Hives will be at the market with our regular fall and spring honey as well as Sunkissed. See you there.
       
  • Rise and Shine Bread will have English Muffin bread, Asiago Ciabatta, Focaccia, Honey Wheat, Raisin, Beer bread and sweets
 
  • Kitchen Blessings will have all of your favorite cookies this weekend. We’ll be featuring Lemon Lavender Shortbread cookies as well as special Red Raspberry filled cookies. These are old-fashioned drop cookies with a homemade fruit filling. Just like they came out of grandmother’s kitchen. We’ll have Red Raspberry, Blueberry, Cherry, and Black Raspberry pies. Remember...larger pies are limited so call/email ahead (by Thursdays) if needed. We’ll also have wonderful Blackberry scones and soft cinnamon rolls. And we have MANY great jams and jellies. This week’s new flavor: Old Fashioned
    Bar-le-Duc (Currant) Preserves.

 

  • Amber Reifsteck will have mixed flower bouquets, beeswax tapers, and a few of her first sunflowers.
 
  • Mrs. Brake's Spices etc. will have Grilling Blends made "In House", Baking flavors & Oils, A variety of Spices, Unique spices in smaller sizes, Fruit Dip mixes, Salad dressing Mixes, Gift basket trios(a set of 3 spice jars filled with Delicious blends), Baking Products and our NEW unsweetened coconut flakes and Orietta's Sicilian Seasoning(inspired from Sicily)! If you have something in mind- call ahead (585-869-5251) & I will bring it with me! Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

 

  • K&S Bischoping will have red raspberries and apples. No baking required.  Easy to eat right out of hand!!
 
  • Andy's Specialty Garlic and Produce will have Certified Organic slicing tomatoes, spinach, salad mix, arugula, green leaf, red leaf and romaine lettuce, baby kale, radishes, beets, turnips, pea and sunflower shoots, fresh garlic, and garlic scapes.
 
  • The Dalai Java will have iced coffee (medium size), hot coffee (medium size), 14 oz bags of whole bean coffee all varieties, and espresso Rice Krispies.
 
  • Ox Creek will have many cuts of pork and lamb on hand as well as whole chicken, honey, chicken and duck eggs, as well as our wool products.
 
  • Tripleberry Farm will have our 1st of the season Pesticide-Free Blueberries this week. We will also have Pesticide-Free Red Raspberries. Our traditional and reduced sugar jams will also be available with fresh batches of strawberry and raspberry.
 
  • Love Grown Farm will have bunches of rainbow swiss chard, lacinato and red russian kales, 4 varieties of garlic, dried herbs, heirloom zucchini. Possible other herbs and produce!
 
  • Renshaw & Daughters Family Farm will be bringing homemade mostly organic baked goods.  This week we will have Classic Madeleines, All-Butter Croissants, Pain Au Chocolat, Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies, Old-Fashioned Molasses Spice Cookies, Cheddar Cheese Shortbread, and Almond Biscotti.  We'll also have a selection of cheeses made by our friends at Muranda in Waterloo.
 
Wohlschlegel's Naples Maple Farm will be absent from market this week, but will be back next week.
 
        
  We have even more vendors than just those listed above in detail, come see what's happening! 
We're excited to celebrate our 17th season with monthly events and weekly smiles!
